Description
As a Technical Product Manager, you will contribute to advancing our strategy by leading a cross-functional team of talented colleagues to define and execute our roadmap and accelerate our growth.
The position is based in New York, NY or Los Angeles, CA with full-time salary and benefits. Engineers will be based in the office and may work remotely depending on the situation.
Key Responsibilities, Prioritized*:
- ****Quarterly OKR setting, against key responsibilities below to be set with direct supervisor
- Help drive the growth by defining and driving execution of our product roadmap
- Own end-to-end design, development, and rollout of software products for enterprise customers in the financial services industry
- Engage with customers to understand and enable their adoption goals
- Lean on your leadership and communication skills to drive action across technical, commercial and regulatory stakeholders
- Contribute to the continued growth of our product team culture and processes
- Building high-growth products and playing a direct role in driving their growth
- Working closely with commercial teams and other stakeholders
- Uncover and understand customer needs and translate them into requirements
- Facilitate the creation and maintenance of proper product documentation. Define success criteria for testing and product acceptance.
- Understand, research, and follow technical trends in the industry and in general. Able to assess emerging products and companies to measure their potential value or threat to the company and its products, as well as make recommendations on which new technologies to invest in or leverage.
- Answer incoming questions about the product and its capabilities.
- Serve as a product evangelist and subject matter expert to the technical/developer community.
- Coordinate beta tests.
- Use database queries to analyze performance indicators, evaluate experiments, etc.
- Evaluating APIs and capabilities, mapping out integration plans or evaluating different technology options.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- 3+ years in a Product Management role, ideally at a B2B software company
- Other than these qualifications, we're hoping to bring someone on board who loves what they do and can't wait to join an amazing team
- Technical-literacy (i.e. you can converse with engineers on API docs)
- Intellectual curiosity and interest in new products, businesses and technologies
- Eagerness to work openly and collaboratively with a diverse team
Requirements
- Received a bachelor's degree in CS, EE, or a related technical field, and proven excellence in previous roles
- Be based at the office in New York or LA and be able to travel within the U.S. and internationally on a regular basis as needed
