    Content Marketing Specialist – Critical Infrastructure

    Flexible European Location – Germany, Scandinavia, UK

    Ballard Power Systems, a leader in the design and manufacture of fuel cell modules, is seeking a Content Marketing Specialist to join the global marketing team.

    If you are a strategically minded marketer with a passion for promoting technical products in the sustainable energy sector and a track record of creating compelling content, this role is for you.

    Ballard’s zero-emission fuel cell products provide solutions to some of the world’s most pressing environmental issues and opportunities. The successful candidate will support the backup power for critical infrastructure market, working closely with the global commercial and business development teams to meet the company’s growth objectives.

     

    What will your responsibilities be?

    • You will oversee content planning and development on backup power for the critical infrastructure market and support the expansion of Ballard’s global marketing efforts
    • Research content trends and collaborate with in-house creatives to produce a varied range of content, including case studies, blog posts, webinars, video scripts, product PR, whitepapers and collateral
    • You will write, edit, and publish thoughtful content to nurture and inform our audiences and support Ballard’s thought leadership initiatives
    • You will support events and presentations for customer facing meetings, shows and conferences
    • Together with Ballard’s digital specialists, you will explore opportunities to extend content reach and measure conversion
    • You will liaise with agency partners to develop premium content and support product launches
    • Our customers are at the center of our marketing efforts, so you will seek to build relationships with our customers’ marketing teams and with industry associations to foster relationships to amplify content reach
     

    Are you the Content Marketing Specialist we are looking for?

    • We believe you have 5+ years of post-graduate marketing, communications or content creation experience
    • You have a passion for promoting technical products and a track record of transforming complex information into compelling content
    • Previous experience in the sustainable energy sector is desirable but not required
    • You are experienced in crafting content such as product news, blog posts, infographics, video scripts, interviews, web copy for a technical B2B audience
    • You are a team player with strong communications stills, and you are comfortable collaborating with team members across a global organization. 
    • You’re are fluent in English (spoken and written). Additional languages are an advantage.
