    Einleitung

    Sport-Thieme is a leading sports products vendor with a well-established position in the eCommerce sector. Over the seven decades of its existence, our business has been growing continuously and organically, with over 19000 products, 90,000 customers and over ten million unique users per year. Currently we are employing over 400 people in our offices in Grasleben (near Wolfsburg), Berlin and all throughout Germany.

    We are looking for a full-time Full-Stack Web-Developer in the vibrant metropolis of Berlin!

     

    Your tasks

    We are working with agile project methods and your tasks will be changing frequently. Possible tasks include: 

    • Coding 
    • Writing tests
    • Designing data structures
    • Leading technical project execution 
     

    We expect you to be

    Personal Profile:

    • You are an experienced (3+ years) full-stack web developer wishing to boost your career while maintaining your work-life balance
    • You are agile and flexible
    • Open-minded: You have no problem expressing your thoughts while keeping an open mind to your team's ideas
    • You are curious and generous: You are eager to learn new technologies, acquire new skills and are willing to share your knowledge with your team to support them in their daily tasks
    • You enjoy working in a family owned business

    Minimum technical qualifications:

    • 3+ years of experience in Typescript
    • 1+ year of React experience in production environment
    • Source Version Controlling – GIT
    • Good understanding of modern web technologies
    • HTML/CSS/SASS
    • GraphQL

    Any of the following would be a big plus:

    • Computer Science Degree or comparable education (e.g. Ausbildung)
    • Amazon Web Services
    • jest/enzyme
    • PHP/MySQL
    • German language
