About Hack VC

About This Role

• This is an marketing / business development role to promote our community initiative, hacksummit.org.
• You can learn more about the project by clicking the link above
• These events are held roughly once/year, and so we have a need for a 3-month contract role annually to assist with the events as they are launched
• The role entails promotional tasks needed to make a live event successful with a large number of attendees. This primarily involves partnering with other organizations to promote our events via win-win partnerships, and also performing a small amount of PR.

Job Requirements

• Relevant business development experience (e.g. at a startup, or for conferences)
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Strong work ethic, responsiveness, and attention to detail
• A passion for conferences and/or crypto
• Nice-to-have: Relevant network within the crypto ecosystem
