How you will leave your mark:
- Responsible to oversee the trading of montblanc.com across EU and ROW ranging from defining the trade, growth, assortment and category strategies and taking the appropriate actions to achieve target KPIs & turnover.
- Develop and drive short, mid and long-term trade strategies based on data insights to meet E-Commerce targets, provide an exciting customer experience as well as support brand goals.
- Work closely with Merchandise Planning to identify commercial opportunities based on consumer insights and trend analysis to optimize on product range as well as stock flows; partner with E-Commerce and brand content to identify impactful commercial storytelling and campaigns to support product lines; work side by side with performance marketing & CRM to drive trade actions as well as acquire the right potential customers and drive customer loyalty.
- Understand and master trade levers and propose how to drive and improve sales performance of categories by implementing tactical actions and closely collaborate with Content, CRM, Traffic, UX teams to improve customer’s experience and succeed as a team.
- Organise launch dates, site navigation amendments, studio outputs and reporting mechanisms for upcoming projects and development implementations.
- Develop strong and trustful relationships with product categories to ensure E-Commerce specific needs are considered as well as stay up to date on competitive and industry trends.
- Innovate, drive and further develop trade reports and relevant E-Commerce metrics/KPIs to support transparency, informed decision making and business growth.
- Lead, inspire and coach the trading team while at the same time allowing them the opportunity to act as the managers of their own areas of responsibilities.
How you will experience success with us:
- Experience in E-Commerce Trading or Buying role for at least 5 years within branded websites/online businesses, preferably in consumer goods, retail, fashion, sporting or luxury sector including some years of managing and developing a team
- Pro-active and commercial with a strong bias for action
- Strong knowledge of E-commerce KPI’s and how they impact performance
- Ability to spot issues, identify gaps and provide recommendations to solve them
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to detect patterns
- Comfortable working in a global organization with a culturally diverse workforce
- High standard of ethics, integrity and confidentiality
- Good communicator with excellent team working and networking skills
- Strong leadership skills to inspire, develop and build a well functioning team
- Excellent skills in Google Analytics, BI tools, MS PowerPoint and Excel
- Proficiency in English is essential, another language is a plus (German, French)
