    Commodity Settlement Analyst (m/f/d) for Global Trade

    Your Challenge
    The Commodity Management Services Team (CMS) is a part of Global Business Services and isresponsible for providing timely and accurate purchase and salessettlementsfor commodity contracts. An opportunity has arisen for a Commodity Settlement Analyst for Global Trade. The position reportsto the EMEA CMS Team Lead and will work closely with Global Trade commercial and execution teams on accounts payable and settlement management.

     

    Your Responsibilities

    • Being active support of the Global Trade, Commercial and Execution Teams on accounts payable and settlement management
    • Proactive participation in standardization, automation and continuous improvement projects
    • Drive efficiencies and simplification in the processes
    • Continuous monitoring of process effectiveness
    • Timely and accurate resolution of issues in the settlement process
    • Strong cooperation with other Global Business Services teams (including external strategic partners)
     

    Your Profile

    • Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Accounting or equivalent preferred
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with initiative and pragmatic approach
    • Focus on continuous improvement with ability to shape solutions end-to-end
    • Positive, ‘can do’, hands on attitude
    • Fluent in English, German would be an advantage
    • ERP experience is a plus as is proficiency with MS Office and data query tools
    • Effective oral and written communication skills as well as the ability to interact with various levels of commercial, operations and finance teams
