    As a global industry segment manager for the segment of Energy related business, you will develop strategy and business plans based on industry drivers and trends, coordinate marketing activities in close cooperation with the global marketing department, run trainings on industry needs and approaches, as well as supporting your sales colleagues in acquiring customers and projects.

    You will lead and contribute to complex business development projects and/or strategic planning. Define and implement business strategies and plans for profitable growth. Align global sales strategies with identified market needs and growth areas. Proactively develop differentiating strategic ideas, alternative business scenarios, etc. for the respective global business segment. You will manage and run globally coordinated sales initiatives as a vital part of the Global Sales Strategies team.

     

    Your responsibilities

    • Develop industry segment sales strategies
    • Manage global sales initiatives
    • Conduct research to identify trends and customer needs
    • Network with key industry influencers and stakeholders, attend functions and events, and monitor publications and research
    • Prepare analytical and performance reports as required for management and board purposes
    • Provide market feedback for future product development and company strategy
    • Cooperate with global sales teams to identify customer values and benefits in order to create new opportunities
     

    Your background

    • Have worked in the Energy industry for several years
    • Understand the needs of the Energy industry and have a thorough understanding of the systems in the Energy industry
    • Minimum 5 years of sales experience within an international business environment, preferably working in the position of a Sales Manager
    • Marketing skills - being able to secure efficient marketing mix
    • Strategic thinking, determination, and persistence
    • Ability to work across sales units, understanding the differences and leveraging the synergies
    • Solid competence in Industrial Automation systems
    • Fluent in English, additional languages are an added advantage
    • Flexibility to travel up to 30%
