We measure and analyze all the ways in which people move in urban spaces. On the subway and in the bus, from the office to the shopping center and on towards home. The captured local data provides important insights for making cities livable.
We are headquartered in Berlin and represented with six further international branch offices in Switzerland, Great Britain, Spain, France, Canada and the United States. With approx. 160 employees, we serve our customers in around 1,800 cities worldwide. Over 100 million people benefit from our innovative technologies and services every day. Our customers include all major rail vehicle and bus manufacturers, large and small public transport operators and public transport authorities as well as leading shopping malls and retail chains.

Team Leader IT / Head of IT (m/f/d)
What are your responsibilities?
- Further developing and implementing our IT strategy as part of a certified ISMS
- Ensuring the availability, integrity and confidentiality of our infrastructure
- Technical and disciplinary leadership of a five-person IT team in Berlin
- Supervising and further developing the IT landscapes at all locations of the DILAX group in cooperation with internal departments, customers and external partners
- Optimizing IT processes and all relevant IT contracts
- Planning, budgeting and implementing ambitious IT projects
- Supervising and further developing DILAX’ in-house hosting infrastructure
- Supporting our employees with IT questions including on-call service
What is your profile?
- University degree in computer sciences, business informatics or a comparable field of study or alternatively a job-related training with further qualification measures
- At least 5 years of professional experience in the IT environment. First leadership experience is an advantage
- Broad practical know-how, ideally in the following areas:
- Microsoft server and client technologies such as Windows Server, MSSQL, Active Directory, Exchange, Navision and CRM
- Cloud and virtualization environments such as AWS, Nutanix AHV (HCI) and Hyper-V
- Management of RPO/RTO with Veeam Backup & Replication
- Open Source technologies like PostgreSQL and Tomcat as well as the administration of LINUX operating systems (preferably CentOS / Red Hat)
- Operation of large Docker/Kubernetes environments
- Management of Sophos firewall solutions and M2M networks
- Infrastructure monitoring with Zabbix
- Help desk administration via Jira and Confluence
- A team player who brings a lot of motivational skills and enthusiasm, service and solution orientation as well as a high level of quality awareness to the table and masters the balancing act between manager and doer
- Good communications skills for interdisciplinary cooperation and coordination as well as very good knowledge of German and English
