The Role:

Polycam is hiring a senior computer vision engineer to help improve our mobile 3D capture pipeline. You will be working with a small team of other senior CV engineers with decades of experience working on 3D reconstruction, to help solve some of the hardest problems in 3D computer vision. The primary task of the CV team is to continually improve the quality, scalability and speed of the 3D reconstruction pipeline.

Requirements:

• Experience working in 3D reconstruction, with deep experience in at least one part of the stack (SfM, depth estimation, mesh reconstruction, texturing etc)
• Strong math, geometry and linear algebra fundamentals
• Strong C++ coding skills and engineering best practices
• Numerical optimization
• Masters or PhD in computer vision, computer science, math, physics or related subject

Bonus skills:

• Experience writing code for GPU
• Experience deploying algorithms to run on resource constrained devices like mobile phones
• Machine learning
• Geometry/mesh processing
