What you will accomplish together with us
For the Data Strategy & Management business unit department within Sartorius Corporate Administration GmbH we are looking for a Data Engineer (m|f|d) at the Goettingen or Berlin site. In this position, you will contribute to build modern data solutions for our business and data science departments within Sartorius globally.
- Collaborates with business teams and data analysts to understand business problems and implement scalable and sustainable data solutions
- Design, build, deploy and document data pipelines, model and integrate the data to service key business use cases and workflows
- Ingest new data sources into data platforms with the help of the most modern tools and technologies
- Provide guidance and mentorship to development teams to build data competencies
- Actively contribute to our Data Community
What will convince us
What will convince us
- You have a university degree in mathematics, computer science, physics, or related courses
- Several years of experience of data engineering, designing, developing, and implementing data solutions
- Strong knowledge and experience in Python/ PySpark/ Spark SQL
- Experience with Palantir foundry is a plus
- Proficiency in development best practices (e.g. Git workflows)
- Experience and skills in Snowflake is a plus
- Experience in several of the following areas are a plus: software development, big data, IoT, machine learning, business intelligence, advanced analytics
- High analytical skills, self-responsible, quality-oriented way of working, strong teamwork, good communication and presentation skills
- You have excellent written and spoken English skills
