Your tasks
The future of automated driving is closely coupled with deep learning, data-science, and data engineering. We at Bosch build the deep learning loop as the fundament for this future. Are you ready to build this machine to build machines?
- As Senior Data Engineer in the deep learning loop you will develop a scalable, cloud-native data engine in which deep learning is already used in the smart filtering of raw data.
- You will bring in your skills to identify and process relevant data within an automated workflow.
- You will use event-based triggers as well as rest-APIs to ingest data into our auto-labelling workflow or to control powerful meta-data extractors.
- You will contribute your deep software engineering experience to apply the micro service pattern to the modules in the data engine.
- You will be part of our great team of Data Engineers, Data Scientists and Software Engineers at the world's largest automotive supplier.
Your profile
- Education: completed university degree in Computer Science, Technical Informatics, Software Engineering, Physics or a similar field
- Personality and Working Practice: future-oriented, agile-minded, creative, high initiative, team player, self-responsible, analytical thinking
- Experience and Knowledge: several years of experience as Software Engineer and/or Data Engineer with deep know-how in data pipelining technologies (e.g. Kubernetes, Docker, MongoDB, Elastic Search); proficient in Python programming; strong experience with clean code and software engineering methods; good knowledge and experience in cloud development (Azure, Kubeflow, Notebooks); proven track record of outstanding ability (i.e. you personally solved difficult problems that moved the needle in meaningful projects); experience in machine learning using Tensorflow/PyTorch is a plus
- Other Qualifications: Good knowledge in cloud technologies, Infrastructure-as-Kubernetes, Docker, MongoDB, Python, Azure, Kubeflow, Notebooks, Tensorflow, Pytorch
- Languages: good skills in spoken and written English and German
