    Tasks

    Manage and develop some of the German key clients of AirPlus. Keep them close to AirPlus and enlarge the relationship globally.

    Overall mission is to manage a portfolio of strategic accounts. This means being as close to the customer as possible to avoid losses and extend business relationships. This includes the usage of standard tools as well as client individual activities.

    • Sole global responsibility for successful management of a defined portfolio of strategic accounts
    • Increasing revenue through strategic global up-selling and cross-selling within dedicated portfolio
    • Provide high levels of customer satisfaction to all relevant external stakeholders and partners 
    • Ensure effective collaboration with all relevant internal departments, external stakeholders and partners
    • Ensure regular, comprehensive, and structured reporting
    • Overall responsibility for the offering process during contract re-negotiation or extension as well as re-bidding process
    • Using knowledge regarding industry trends to aid in strategic account planning
     

    Requirements

    • A minimum of 5 years of successful, professional experience in client facing positions in business travel, expense management, or a related field
    • Effectively works with individuals and teams, clients, partners and staff
    • Manages time effectively and monitors performance against deadlines and milestones
    • Focuses on internal and external customer needs and satisfaction
    • Builds wide and effective networks inside and outside the organization
    • Structures information to meet the needs and understanding of the intended audience
    • Outstanding negotiation skills with top decision makers (CFO, Head of purchasing, Global Travel Manager)
    • Excellent German and English verbal and written communication skills required
    • Willingness to travel domestic and international
