KKTV is a Taiwanese video streaming service provider that went online in October 2016. KKTV subscribers gain access to thousands of Korean, Chinese, Taiwanese, Hong Kong and Japanese dramas, which they can watch on-demand on mobile, tablet, web or smart TV applications.
We’re looking for a senior backend engineer to work with an agile team to build the top 1 video streaming service in Taiwan.

Responsibilities:

• Developing and maintaining video streaming platforms.
• Optimize the service performance to provide better video streaming experience to audiences.
• Work with an agile product team to deliver business value.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of relevant cloud solution development experience (AWS preferred).
• Self-motivated communication skills, problem-solving skills and attitudes.
• Familiar with RESTful API design and development.
• Familiar with Golang, Ruby on Rails.
• Familiar with AWS, especially Lambda and ECS.
• Experience with any SQL / NoSQL database (PostgreSQL / MySQL / Redis / etc.)

Nice To Have:

• Experience with video streaming technology, CDN, and network performance tuning.
• Experience with database administration, and performance tuning.
• Experience with e-commercial billing systems.
• Programming skill in Node.js, PythonExperience with Jenkins, Gitlab CI, Terraform and Docker containers
