Sr. Software Engineer- Backend

 

Trustero is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer to drive our technology vision forward and guide the implementation across multiple initiatives. Our engineering team is made up of amazing people with varying experience, so the ideal candidate would be able to both assist in the project management and help coach the engineers towards professional development and developing their own project management skills. You not only optimize your own code but make sure engineers are able to optimize theirs. You have the technical expertise to take on and provide technical leadership to major projects. The ideal candidate will have experience working with remote teams across multiple time zones.

 

What You'll Be Doing

 

Coding, coding, coding

 

Keeping on top of the architecture and contributing code

 

Mentoring engineers

 

Collaborate with the team for a high-quality product experience

 

Actively participate in the software development planning process

 

Coding primarily in Golang, with some Typescript

 

Collaborating with the rest of our globally remote team, we are generally working 9-5 pm, Pacific

What We're Looking For

 

4-7 years of software engineering experience

 

In-depth knowledge of Linux

 

Experience with cloud production environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and Docker containers.

 

Self-motivated individual that thrives in a dynamic environment

 

Excellent communication skills, this job is remote

 

BS in Computer Science or related technical field is preferred
