Tyson Foods Delivery as a Service (DaaS) team is seeking a Senior Software EDI Integration Developer to join Tyson’s Lisbon office. REQUIREMENTS

Technical qualifications

 

Required Skills:

Strong experience with an EDI Integration platform (IBM Sterling, OpenText or equivalent).

Strong experience with data communication protocols (FTP/SFTP, AS2) & EDI ANSI x12 standards.

Strong experience with Direct EDI, EDI via VAN and Web EDI implementations.

Varied and strong experience with various operating systems, encryption algorithms and markup languages (XML, HTML, etc.).

Experience in API usage (REST/SOAP).

Strong SQL skills.

Education: Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Operations Management, or other related discipline. Equivalent experience may be acceptable.

Experience: 2 – 5+ years of experience in Information Technology or related area preferred using service and hosting solutions such as private/public cloud.

 

Preferred Skills:

Experience with Job Scheduling platforms (Redwood, Active Batch, BMC Control, etc.).

Understanding of middleware technologies/tools such as Pub/Sub messaging, message queues, ActiveMQ, Message Broker.

Experience in JavaScript & Python scripting languages.

Experience designing and building integrations for EAI applications such as SAP, Workday and SugarCRM.

Understanding of AWS, GCP tools and services.

Experience working in Follow the Sun, Onshore-Offshore Operations model.

 

Leadership Skills:

Ability to guide development efforts and delivering quality build releases on schedule utilizing various implementation methodologies.

Ability to contribute within analysis and design phases with a project team using SDLC concepts.
