This position reports to the Content Engineering Manager. You'll be an impactful contributor or our training circurrulum, training platform and content roadmap.
What you’ll do:
Help define and manage our training roadmap
Build new interactive lessons to help train software developers about security
Keep our existing lessons and challenges fresh and up-to-date
Help build tools to make it easier and faster to release new content
Help define our system architecture as we scale the product
Enhance code quality and consistency throughout our stack
We are looking for:
Deep experience with Information Security. It's a plus if you have formal security education.
Experience with our tech stack (knowledge in all lesson languages is not required)
Advance knowledge of software security topics
Ability to quickly prototype intentionally vulnerable applications (in Flask when possible)
Passion for helping fellow developers master their craft
Adaptability in a fast-paced startup environment and interest in taking on additional responsibility
High level interpersonal, communication, and written skills
Able to thrive in a remote role
Tech Stack
While we don't expect candidates to be expects in our entire stack we want to find people that love working with our stack--and there is always room for input to improve as well.
Front End (React)
Platform/APIs (Python/Flask, gRPC, Postgres)
Infrastructure (AWS, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes)
We have lessons in many major programming language (C#/.NET, Go, Java, Node, PHP, Python, Ruby, Perl, Clojure) and have plans to extend to others (rust, elixir, kotlin, etc.)

This is a remote (work from home) position for candidates based in the United States. We do have offices in Pittsburgh, PA and Raleigh, NC if working in an office is your jam.
