As an early member of the frontend team, you’ll work directly with our engineering and product leaders to unlock value for our users using TypeScript, React, and trail blazing UX design.

You’ll work directly with the backend engineers, product managers, and external users to understand their workflows/needs and then build frontend components that delight and blow them away.

You’ll be part of the core, original team, helping to create the culture for now and the future.

Compensation:

Early-stage equity package; $80k - $150k salary range based on experience, with room to grow cash compensation as we mature.

Requirements:

 

2+ years of production software engineering in TypeScript and React.

Interest in functional programming and data driven design.

Deep desire to create user value on a daily basis.

Experience with building/operating distributed applications.

Production experience with building applications built off of APIs.

Production experience with apps deployed in the public cloud (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

Production experience with monitoring and supporting globally deployed frontend applications.

Extended usage of at least one metrics platform (graphite, prometheus, etc).

Master of wielding technical debt.

Superior communication skills, especially written.

Self Motivated, Independently Driven, Hustle

 

Nice to have:

 

Depth in TypeScript and React production engineering.

Depth in TypeScript and React internals.

Depth in interfacing with internal and external HTTP APIs.

Experience with conceptual graphs.

An ‘eye for design’, deep user empathy, intrinsically motivated to build amazing user experiences.

Experience iterating your code with direct end-user feedback.
