Role at a Glance
As a Marketing Lead, you will be responsible for generating and nurturing leads for Fisherman via various marketing channels. You’ll be our first full-time Marketing hire and join a team of sales and support specialists focused on delivering the Fisherman solution to small business owners who need our help. The role will involve identifying and filtering lead sources, launching marketing campaigns, organizing CRM activity, and collaborating closely with our sales department. You will be focused on generating inbound volume while also managing our customer-facing brand. This is a great opportunity for someone who has a few years of full service marketing under their belt and is looking to take on substantial responsibility in a at a fast-paced startup. We are looking for a creative, analytical, self-starting, and hardworking individual who is passionate about helping small businesses at scale, improving processes, and collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders.
Your Background
3+ years of experience in inbound marketing, ideally to small business owners
Experience running/managing ad campaigns (Google, Facebook, Instagram)
Experience with SEO - keyword research, blogging,
Analytical skills to monitor and make iterative improvements to marketing efforts
Social Media management
Top-notch verbal and written communication skills
Excellent project management skills
Thorough knowledge of CRM software, preferably Salesforce
Bonus: Experience growing virtual communities through social engagement and events
Key Responsibilities
Research: Identify lead sources and create marketing messaging based on target market trends and competitive landscape
Create & Operate Marketing Campaigns: Ads, Blogging, Social Media, Events, Community Groups, and more! Create and manage reporting dashboards to track the progress and impact of numerous marketing programs
Lead Management: Build and manage lead nurturing programs to move prospects efficiently through the buying cycle, qualifying and scoring leads based on intent signals
Project Management: Collaborate cross-functionally with our sales and product teams to optimize our messaging, lead quality, and feature development

$85 - 95k
