    Solv Protocol is a reputation-based marketplace built to accelerate the creation and trading of tailor-made Web3 financial assets. Our goal is to bring the freedom of economic ownership to people by leading the mass adoption and the exponential growth in the Financial NFT sector. 

    Our current products include Vesting Voucher and Bond Voucher. Over the past year, we have established over 100 partnerships and reached over 17k unique voucher holders across the two current product lines, of which the Bond Voucher alone has helped raise over 31M since its inception earlier this year.

    About The Role:

    We are looking for an Institutional Business Development Lead with competitive compensation and rewards. After onboarding, you will quickly get access to most major exchanges, market makers, crypto VCs and entrepreneurs. You need to professionally and decently communicate and drive forward partnerships. Your day to day job needs you to participate in the coordination with each department and understand the value of the financial tools we are building. We hope you are an inspirational individual and an excellent doer who can passionately introduce our solutions to our institutional clients.

    Solv empowers institutions to self-define any kind of financial tools. Currently, our major focus is our bond issuance product, namely Bond Voucher. Thus, we need you to quickly understand the product, the operational logic of the bond market and the foundational technology layer that supports the Bond Voucher. More importantly, a flexible way of thinking is also required since the potential clients of the bond product reach far beyond the capital supply and demand side. Your business development targets may also include any potential partnerships in tech integration, bond rating and solution adoptions with exchanges.

    Responsibilities:

    Source and onboard institutional clients to establish rapport and follow up on partnerships. Our customers typically include the borrowing team of institutions, founders of DAOs, Asset management team of CEX and investment team of VCs that have a need to borrow/lend money.

    Develop SOP and key milestones for the business development team and ensure the goals are met.

    Build and manage key relationships across the web3 ecosystem that serve Solv’s growth.

    Test with and optimize digital channels such as Twitter, Telegram, Discord, Email, LinkedIn, or cold-calling to efficiently reach and convert prospects. 

    Represent Solv in marketing and branding events, which include attending conferences to meet prospective clients, online marketing events, etc.

    Closely coordinate with the product team to deliver on client features and support requests.

    Keep track of news/launches to identify key co-branding/ co-creation partnerships that will add value and drive customer acquisition.

    Qualifications:

    Excellent communication skills to deliver messages not specifically about pitching but being convincing and concise. A good listener that understands the clients’ needs and being clear on next steps and always following up on promises.

    Business Development experience in financial services or crypto market making institutions is a plus.

    Experience in creating marketing materials such as pitch books for client presentations.

    Native English speaker with strong writing skills. Mandarin is a plus.

    Proactive and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with minimal guidance.

    Intellectually passionate and a strong understanding of crypto, always keep updated to the latest news and trends in the industry, especially the technical aspects of web3.
