Reports to: Director, Enterprise Solution COE

Location: Tokyo

Working hours: 5 days a week. 

 

POSITION SUMMARY:

The position will responsible for Tapestry's enterprise solutions (mainly SAP) in Asia, focus on SAP retail (SD module) and supply chain (MM module) area and integrations with other systems.

As an SAP supply chain function SME, this role holder will lead/join the SAP retail relevant project implementation, integration with POS, OMS and WMS etc. for all Asia regions in close partnership with global enterprise solution team and other Asia functional teams. The successful candidate will need have proven experience in implementation of large scale SAP and integration solutions.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:

• Designs and delivers SAP relevant business solutions to the Asia region, eg. Build system integration between POS, OMS, SAP and WMS for ecommerce/Omni channel; SAP and WMS integration for new DC setup etc;
• Coordinates with IT teams across Asia and globally to guarantee the successful delivery and maintenance of SAP, WMS and relevant affiliated systems;
• Daily support for MIMs (store inventory management) system;
• Provide strong support to the other Asia IT projects which impacts SAP supply chain solutions;
• Collaborate with application development and technology infrastructure teams to deliver systems solutions;

 

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Experience:

• Deep technical SAP knowledge on SD and MM module with hands on experience on system design, configuration, testing and cutover;
• Deep experience of SAP implementation and integration; 5+ years’ experience for manager role; 3+ experience for Sr.analyst;
• Good understanding of omni retail environment and system solutions is a plus;
• Experience on SAP MIMS implementation is highly preferred;
• Experience in building and supporting supply chain related interfaces among SAP and external systems;
• Abilities to command Tapestry's supply chain system solutions and on-going SAP related projects quickly, and have a clear understanding to the Tapestry's current business processes;
• Familiar with retail business process, knowledge and experience of handheld device (ipod/iphone) and store stock take process is preferred.
• Person who has a strong sense of responsibility, ownership and fast learning capability;
• Should be proactive and work independently with minimum guidance;
• Fluent in English and Japanese as the working language;
• Mandarin is great plus;

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or related discipline; retail/consumer experience preferred
• Graduate degree is preferred.
