Stanza connects millions of fans who want to know when things happen with creators who want others to know when things happen. We call this the WHEN problem. From NFL schedules, concerts, TV shows, movie releases, yoga classes, and local community events. Stanza is solving the question of WHEN so you don't have to.
What are we looking for
Solving the WHEN problem is all about making the calendar a magical, informative, and stress-free experience for consumers while also delivering unrivaled value for creators who host their events on Stanza. In this role, you will define and execute the vision of how creators are onboarded and their path to success - a growing and informed community.
As the product manager, you will be responsible for identifying initiatives tied to our objectives and working with a team of designers and engineers through delivery. The metrics you will own include the growth of our creator base, creator NPS, and creator user engagement. You will work with your team to derive and review insights from various sources, including existing creators, consumers, session data, and industry trends.
To succeed in this role, you fundamentally believe that Product Design and Engineering should not be siloed but work together throughout the process to build an engaging, beautiful, and intuitive user experience.
Responsibilities:
Lead product planning, product & customer discovery, the product development cycle, and product delivery and adoption efforts.
Align product roadmap to business priorities, set quantifiable goals and track progress
Collaborate with teams across the organization, including Engineering and Design, the GTM team, and our customers and partners.
Identify opportunities via qualitative & quantitative research, case studies, and reviews of industry-standard methodologies to produce well-written requirements and specification design documents.
Intake & validate new ideas through a set of frameworks and drive them into implementable projects.
Serve as the point person for your product area to leadership and across the organization.
Promote best design practices and user experiences while creating scalable & easy-to-use products that are engaging.
Evaluate creator challenges and build solutions (from top-level goals to detailed operational and system details). Maintain alignment across partner-facing teams.
Publish company-wide updates. Ensure that requirements, release notes, and other artifacts are documented.
Act as a effective steward of company resources, allocating teams and budget dollars in a fiscally responsible manner
Qualifications:
3-5 years of Product Management experience
Knowledge of industry-standard design tools and strong design thinking practices
Strong understanding of an empathetic, flexible and iterative approach to product development
Design thinking experiences & experiences standing behind design decisions that focus on finding out the right ideas alongside the business's focus on growth
Proven experience leveraging data to make good product decisions when confronted with ambiguity. * * You should be data and metrics-driven
Strong experiences presenting to large groups & influencing people to run towards goals
Strong ability to manage multiple stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with creator economy or managing consumer-facing products
Engineering background or strong understanding of the software development cycle
Located or able to spend time in the San Francisco / Bay Area.
