The Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team partners with executive and departmental leadership to accelerate profitable growth for Binance.US. The team is responsible for leading ongoing reporting, forecasting, budgeting, KPI development, and opportunity analysis. FP&A is accountable for accurate reporting, thorough analysis, and data-driven insights to empower our business partners.

Binance.US seeks a Sr. Manager to be a key member of Binance.US Finance team. This role will help drive growth of the Binance.US businesses by providing analytical insights to business and finance leaders, driving core financial and business processes for the business including financial analysis and reporting, budgeting and forecasting functions, as well as special projects with senior management (e.g., fundraising support and Board/investor reporting)

What You Will Do

 

Develop and leverage a deep understanding of the key drivers of the various business lines at Binance.US

Lead engagement with Binance.US investors by planning for quarterly updates or board meetings, organizing responses to questions, and organizing engagement

Partner with senior leaders across the organization to help drive strategic projects and cross-functional initiatives

Develop high quality, data-driven financial business cases that deliver actionable insights and clear recommendations

Develop relationships with business teams to implement new processes and drive continuous improvement of newly launched initiatives

The successful candidate will have shown experiences in past roles influencing senior business leaders and supporting decision-making in rapidly evolving environments

This role requires an experienced leader with strong financial modeling skills, a keen attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects effectively

This role also has regular interaction with executives and various business units across Binance.US and therefore requires strong interpersonal and communication skills

 

Qualifications

 

You have 10+ years in a business decision-driven analytical role (e.g. FP&A, investment banking, management consulting, or strategic planning)

You directly contributed analyses and proposals before executing on company initiatives that delivered material benefit 

You have developed dozens of business cases and can eloquently translate non-financial prompts into insightful financial projections

You have worked directly with partners, investors, or customers external to the company and are familiar managing ongoing engagement with external parties

You enjoy blazing a trail and operating in new lines of business or uncharted territory

You have a proven ability to dig deeply into data and derive business insights from financial or non-financial KPIs

You are capable of taking high-level guidance or working with non-financial partners on projects to create actionable insights and recommendationsYou balance perfectionism with efficiency and are uncompromising with precision, completeness, and timeliness

You are highly-organized and able to think creatively, while being highly-driven and self-motivated, with an acute attention to detail

You communicate complex analyses and resulting recommendations in a simple, clear manner (verbally or written)

You want to learn from and grow with some of the smartest and highly experienced analytical operators in the industry

You have a passion for crypto and are familiar with Binance.US

You have an opinion of how to improve the business or operations, yet you maintain extreme empathy for the customer, your teammates, and other stakeholders
