We are looking for a rockstar Sales Development Representative to help us prospect and qualify medium and high potential medical practices in the US. This is a phone and technology-based, prospecting-focused, outbound sales role with an attractive incentive compensation plan.
The position will be remote, with occasional travel required to team events and industry trade shows.
Responsibilities
Use phone and technology tools to prospect for new customer leads, navigate past gatekeepers, and find the decision makers
Create opportunities and book demos, with the goal of registering new practices with Cherry
Collaborate closely with Senior Account Executive colleagues to optimize your prospecting approach
Accurately log and track all sales interactions in our Customer Relationship Management system
Organize and optimize your sales outreach cadence by leveraging technology tools and data analytics
Rapidly adapt your prospecting approach to different types of medical practices
Drive our expansion in existing and new markets as the company rapidly grows
Travel and attend industry events and trade shows as needed
Take ownership and accountability of your own success
Take the initiative to continuously improve your sales approach by seeking feedback, learning new sales methods, and experimenting with new things
Be a team player and act like an owner at all times - give and accept feedback, collaborate with your colleagues, and seek to lift every member of your team to greatness
Requirements
1+ year of experience in a prospecting-centered sales role preferred
Phone-based prospecting experience focused on medical practices, technology product sales, or financial product sales
Top 10% performer in existing role, with proven track record of meeting or exceeding performance quotas
Independent worker, self starter, and proven ability to exceed expectations in a remote work environment
Experience at an early-stage company preferred, selling new products against industry incumbents
Ability to place a high volume of outbound contacts, navigate through gatekeepers, and find decision makers in small or medium sized businesses
Expertise in demand/lead generation
Experience in Customer Relationship Management tools (Salesforce preferred)
Experience using cloud-based communication tools (such as Slack, cloud-based VOIP telephony, Zoom, Salesloft, etc)
Willingness to work at a dynamic, ever-changing environment filled with friendly competition where high performance is directly rewarded
