We are hiring a front-end Functional React TypeScript developer and  You will be working on a PWA/SPA for a government agency that residents will use to access public services.

Important to know:

 

The candidate applying needs to be physically located in the United States of America for this role.

This is for one of Topflight Apps’ clients (a government project) where daily virtual stand-ups with the Project Manager are expected as part of the work.

The candidate will be required by the client to submit an i9 form.

 

Our client is looking for a progressive web application developer with React experience to help maintain its mobile solution and build subsequent deliverables for future phases of the project. The person will be working with Java developers and DB2 DBAs.

Required Skill Set

 

Expert Progressive Web App Developer. This is different from a native mobile app developer.

Expert ReactJS; Caching, page load

In-depth knowledge and experience in UX/UI designs and various UI/UX toolsets

Create web services, custom widgets using native APIs and JavaScript.

Perform hands-on mobile application development across various mobile operating systems , browsers and languages

 

Additional Requirements of Projects:

 

Ability to work on a government-issued Windows laptop

Although the work schedule includes a range of flexibility, this position requires general availability during the regular working hours of 9 am - 5 pm EST

 

Key characteristics we are looking for are:

 

3+ years of experience building production-level mobile apps.

A knack for consulting others on how to best achieve a feature for scalability and their business goals (as opposed to waiting for instructions on how to build a feature or building something the first way that comes to mind).

The ability to "figure it out" when you hit inevitable roadblocks.
