The Senior Program Manager, Employee Experience is a critical and highly visible role at Discord. You will help support the connection, culture, and operational needs of our growing global People Operations team. Discord is building a best-in-class hybrid work environment and this role will work to ensure our employees have a highly functional, vibrant, and inclusive workplace. You will collaborate with key stakeholders across our Inclusion, Diversity and Purpose (IDP), People Partner, Workplace, and Internal Communications teams to deliver on company-wide initiatives.What You'll Be Doing

     

    Managing our internal events program which includes large-scale company-wide events like our annual company kick-off, Discord Birthday, and Hack Week

    Lead the coordination of our annual company-wide onsite in San Francisco

    Partner with our Workplace teams to coordinate events and community-building activities for our global office(s)

    Partner with our Brand Merchandise Manager to manage our internal swag program and employee merch store

    Manage our Discord Anniversary program 

    Support our Senior Benefits Manager in managing and evolving our Total Wellness program

    Manage cross-functional, global relationships and projects to ensure policy, process, and systems are aligned to meet the needs of employees

    Oversee management reporting and work with our People Analytics team to analyze data for various EX programs 

     

    You Will Thrive In This Role If

     

    You have a minimum 5 years experience working in Human Resources or Customer Experience programs and third-party vendor management

    You have experience planning and executing large-scale events

    You are curious, creative, and collaborative

    You have the ability to assess and understand our culture and interpret this into meaningful strategies that are genuine to Discord

    You have experience leading projects and programs and experience with managing relationships with cross-functional teams

    You have excellent interpersonal, and analytical skills, and the ability to understand various engagement tools in order to help drive implementations and systems maintenance

    Meaningful relationships are your thing. You excel at making a connection with those around you

    You have the ability and desire to adapt to the fast-changing landscape of technology
