We have come together to build on a unified product experience for an extremely urgent mission – building a digital assistant for teachers, to untether teachers from the desk and help them with managing classroom technologies.

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

Conduct system level testing and QA including testing for product performance, interoperability, new functions, and run regression tests on different OS builds.

Setup a test lab with needed third party devices and test automation.

Develop and improve test strategies, plans and procedures to evaluate product quality and performance. Ensure test plan covers issues faced in the field as well as be proactive in developing new tests that are relevant to the usage of the product.

Meticulously execute the test plan. Document and communicate results in a timely fashion. Raise Jira tickets and track them till resolution.

Setup and run long term 'stress' tests to tease out reliability failure modes

Provide field support as needed

 

Requirements:

 

B.S. or equivalent degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or other related engineering disciplines.

At least 5 years of experience in consumer electronics products.

Ability to read and understand technical documents such as datasheets, schematics and written work instructions

Ability to conduct tests under Windows, Android, Linux, macOS, and iOS

Experience in developing automated testing by writing scripts in appropriate language.

Enjoys working in a fast-paced startup environment.

Must be hands-on, self-motivated, and able to multi-task.

Good verbal and written communication skills.

Proficiency in the English language

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

Experience in testing audio/video consumer electronics, HDMI, USB, Wi-Fi or Bluetooth networking products

Python based test automation
