We are looking for a VP-Finance to establish our Accounting team and lay the foundation for our next phase of growth. This is a very hands-on role with the opportunity to have a tremendous impact. You will work in partnership with the CEO and be responsible for the overall strategic financial direction of the company. 

Your new role will lead all aspects of Accounting, Tax, and Financial Operations here at Mosaic. You will partner with other leaders to develop, maintain, and continually improve our fundraising,  financial reporting, and tax compliance.

Responsibilities:

Manage all accounting operations including Billing, AR, AP, international subsidiaries, Cost Accounting, and Revenue Recognition

Own Financial PnL model for financial analysis and forecasting

Implement and manage financial software for real-time visibility into financial performance metrics.

Build and implement a financial reporting framework for investors and executive team for ME, QE, and YE.

Own the development, implementation, and maintenance of accounting policies and financial processes.

Ensure accurate sales and income tax filings.

Qualifications:

10 years of progressive SaaS/software startup experience with early stage (Seed/Series A) startup experience required.

Hands-on self-starter and hard worker, who gets the job done.

Desire to lead in a fast-paced, high growth startup.

Experience managing the financing for startup fundraising 

Strong communication skills to manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders (vendors, executives, PE/VC’s, etc.).

Ability to review, approve, and manage commercial and vendor contracts

Experience using financial accounting software

CPA license with deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP preferred
