    We're looking for a Sales Development Rep to help accelerate our growth! Working from our Chicago or Washington, D.C. offices, you will help build the customer base for a product that truly saves lives. As an SDR, you’ll be responsible for fueling Somewear's growth by discovering new leads and nuturing them through the sales process. You’ll work with leadership and multiple business functions to ensure qualified leads convert into enduring customers. You will focus on growing Somewear's commercial business.

    "Recently, the United States Air National Guard 131st Rescue Squadron successfully employed Somewear’s unique ATAK integration to coordinate and monitor a civilian rescue operation 1,200 miles off the U.S. Pacific coast. The consistent communications and situational awareness across rescue personnel, medical personnel, aircrafts, and the operations center led to an efficient rescue mission that took half of the expected time to complete."

    What you'll do

     

    Drive pipeline through personalized outreach to prospects via phone, emails and Linkedin

    Partner with leadership to build new business lines for Somewear

    Become a product expert and an evangelist of life saving technology

    Keep detailed records of interactions with leads in our CRM

     

    Requirements

     

    Experience in sales, with 12 months experience in a sales role minimum - ideally experience in closing-sales roles

    Experience in volume cold calling prospects (outbound lead generation)

    Highly motivated and committed, with strong desire to work in target driven sales

    Proven track record of consistent quota over-achievement

    Curious and able to ask insightful questions
