At NOVI Health, we're changing the way healthcare is delivered by integrating traditional medical practice with consumer tech – providing a full-stack medical solution based on motivational software, data science, and fitness and diet coaching at scale, all in addition to traditional health screening and medication.

We are looking for a frontend developer who can independently own features from conceptualisation to completion. You should be able to quickly get started with an Ember.js codebase and should be very familiar with the "Ember way" of using the framework.

Who We're Looking ForYou should be

 

Interested in joining an early stage, VC-backed startup disrupting the health tech industry

Very strong in Ember.js with 3+ years of experience. We can consider candidates with strong design skills plus experience in other JS frameworks 

Have some knowledge of design thinking, able to follow existing design patterns, and be opinionated about UX

Be able to independently own features, proactively communicate, and take initiative to manage your own output

 

What we value

 

Good communication skills are highly valued. Your code, comments and descriptions should be highly expressive, and you should be good at communicating your intent and thought process with every piece of work

Design experience is a huge plus, otherwise design-thinking or an ability to think critically and make tough value judgements is highly regarded

Ability to independently think through a feature, scope out work, propose an approach and process, and make sound trade-offs between speed and robustness

 

Nice-to-haves

 

Experience with mobile web, consumer apps, or admin  dashboards

Experience with Ruby on Rails, Firebase, or any full-stack experience

Experience working within healthcare or similar industries
