The Account Executive role at Coalition is about creating and maintaining relationships with our brokerage partners and customers. We are looking for highly motivated, experienced, and focused sales or customer success professionals to help us develop and empower the success of our partners by matching Coalition’s best ideas, innovations, and capabilities with a broker’s business goals.
Responsibilities
Meet with potential new broker partners daily to introduce them to Coalition and our products, tools, and resources. Qualify and market our products to the broker partner and their clients.
Establish and maintain relationships with internal teams and external partners.
Work directly with our Sales Development team daily to maintain appointments and a steady income of potential broker partners within assigned territory.
Work directly with internal teams to assist assigned broker contacts with opportunities they have submitted. Ensuring efficient and timely solutions for our broker partners.
Sell the value of Coalition’s products to our existing and potential broker partners using multiple forms of communication. Email, phone, video conference, etc.
Maintain an organized and efficient pipeline of assigned broker contacts to maximize relationships at an individual and organizational level.
Maintain a balance of requests and tasks daily from internal and external contacts in order to effectively maintain relationships.
Ability to meet business objectives and pre planned sales goals.
Leverage taught sales techniques to maximize customer interactions.
Log, track, and maintain outbound activity.
Work closely with the Business Development team and attend all internal and external facing meetings.
Skills and Qualifications
Approximately 3+ years of experience in sales or customer success
Strong in-person, phone, and written customer communication skills.
Must be able to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization.
Understanding of workflow systems and their application to customer business process improvement.
Ability to make formal and informal presentations to staff and clients.
Ability to prioritize work assignments and shift work efforts based on the needs of the department or business goals.
Strong computer skills required; knowledge of CRM systems a plus.
Ability to manage time effectively, work independently, and be self-motivated.
Prior track record of achievement in positions with significant accountability.
Interested in pursuing a career in technology.
Ability to thrive in a fast paced and high volume environment.
Proactive, independent thinker with high energy/positive attitude.
Strong problem solving skills and ability to think on your feet for a multitude of unique situations.
Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
Bonus Points
Familiarity with Cyber Liability and Technology E&O (errors & omissions) insurance
Existing relationships with potential broker partners
Technical background in engineering, computer science, or MIS a plus
