    Salary Range: $200k-$225k
    Location: This role is remote-eligible. However, we have offices in Washington, DC, and NYC, and would be thrilled if you wanted to relocate and work with us in person. Our in-office teams come together for collaborative work in their respective offices Tuesday through Thursday and work remotely on Monday and Friday.

    Inspiration is the world’s first specialist investment and asset management platform exclusively focused on accelerating the electrification of transportation in North America.     Your Mission:
    Your mission is to utilize your subject matter expertise in the mobility, energy, and/or EV charging sectors to negotiate, structure and close deals. You’ll build strategic partnerships and relationships with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), charging project developers and our other ecosystem participants to generate fleet, charging, and investment opportunities for us.

    You will work on a small team, reporting to Ohad Zeira, our Managing Director of Business Development.

    As a result of your time in this role, you helped us catapult to the big leagues by securing more energy and fleet deals. You identified and developed new partnerships that led to additional customers and capital deployment opportunities.

    What You’ll Be Responsible for In Your Role:

    • Spearhead new business development outreach by seeking and developing strategic relationships with key stakeholders, prospects, and customers
    • Establish innovative partnerships with various vehicle OEMs, service providers, and commercial fleets, leading to more EVs on the road and more satisfied customers
    • Develop and implement tailored channel partnership strategies with key charging infrastructure developers, hardware and software providers, utilities, and real estate owners to better serve fleet customers
    • Lead partner identification, deal structuring, and negotiation of partnership opportunities
    • Actively manage partnerships and internal touch points to increase lead velocity and accelerate the conversion of partner leads
    • Identify opportunities for joint ventures and investments
    • Keep a close eye on market developments and contribute insights to our leadership team to help raise our profile and enhance our value proposition for our customers
    • Develop a robust network within the OEMs, charging, fleet services, and energy markets to position us as their partner of choice
    • Collaborate with our Product team to identify, assess, and enhance service offerings to add and evolve our portfolio of fleet and charging solutions

    Who You Are:

    • You have 10+ years of progressive leadership in strategy, B2B business development, asset investing, and/or entrepreneurship in the automotive, asset leasing, charging and/or energy sectors
    • You have successfully managed and propelled an entire business development lifecycle from start to finish
    • You are adept at structuring deals, crafting term sheets, and negotiating with counterparties through deal close
    • You excel in financial modeling and analysis, as well as capital allocation and funding strategies
    • You have a deep understanding of risk management, credit analysis, underwriting, and collections, and your history of collaborating with these teams highlights your ability to work effectively within a group
    • You have a repeatable process for successfully establishing and nurturing strategic relationships with key stakeholders, prospects, and customers
    • You are passionate about our mission to contribute to climate solutions by accelerating the transition to EVs
    • You are available to travel up to 30%
