    The Associate Brand Manager, Marketing will play an integral role in shaping the future of sweetgreen by serving as a key stakeholder in brand strategy and execution. This position will support the Brand Marketing team in creating breakthrough brand communications campaigns including go-to-market product launch strategies, guest engagement promotions, and brand experiences and innovations. This role will also manage cross-functional relationships and own brand and business performance analysis within the competitive landscape.

    As the Associate Brand Manager, Marketing, you will:

    • Support the Brand Marketing team in the strategy and execution of new product launches and go-to-market campaigns by contributing consumer, cultural, and business insights, managing cross-functional communications, and ensuring seamless project flow.
    • Work closely with the Consumer Insights team to synthesize data covering key category/competitor trends and company performance, and develop actionable recommendations.
    • Own annual marketing calendar management and reporting across the entire sweetgreen organization.
    • Collaborate closely with the Culinary team on menu innovation and optimization initiatives designed to grow the brand and business.
    • Foster high functioning working relationship with internal Creative team to optimize creative feedback process and bring breakthrough strategies and campaigns to life.
    • Oversee promotional planning and activations, and budget management.
    • Drive decision-making through a spirit of business ownership -- contributing a clear financial understanding of the business.
    • Additional duties as assigned.

    Desired traits:

    • Experience in Brand or Product Marketing, Integrated Communications, Cultural Marketing, and managing complex initiatives
    • Strong communication, attention to detail and organizational skills
    • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, cross-collaboration, and team skills
    • Ability to solve problems both independently and as part of a team
    • Curious and positively resilient
    • Experience in using consumer insights and data to drive decision-making
    • Experience working with internal and external creative teams and agency partners

    Desired experience:

    • Bachelors Degree in Marketing or related field
    • 2+ years of Brand-Building and Culturally-Driven Integrated Marketing Communications experience
