    What Your Days Will be Like:

    The Account Executive for Care.com Connect will proactively build client relationships while consistently achieving and exceeding revenue objectives. This position will ideally have experience working with small to medium sized businesses in the SAAS space. Care.com Connect helps businesses in the camps and activities space manage their entire business from registration to daily execution. Our unique two-sided marketplace offers both marketing and enrollment solutions, as well as payment, classroom, and customer management. This position calls for a solutions-oriented and consummate relationship builder, they will work with owners and key business managers, negotiating business terms, and securing partnerships that are mutually beneficial to Care.com and our client. This role is focused primarily on the SMB market.

    What You'll Be Working On:

    • Outbound cold calling to SMB prospects to identify potential partners and introduce the service.
    • Generate and maintain a consistent and balanced pipeline of opportunities and negotiate those deals to close
    • Achieve individual revenue goals/quota on a consistent quarterly and annual basis
    • Command of products, industry, and competitive knowledge and trends with a focus on target markets
    • Work with operations and product team teams identify and implement key features for client acquisition and retention.
    • Interact with potential partners, industry groups, and other key external partners to understand and evaluate business opportunities, and to develop, modify and implement business development activities
    • Work closely with the Care.com management team to analyze sales and financial metrics

    What You’ll Need to Succeed:

    • BA or BS in a Business Related Field
    • 2+ years of solid B2B sales outbound experience – SAAS industry experience preferred
    • Hunting experience, ability to build a pipeline from scratch and prospect potential buyers.
    • Experience selling to all levels of decision-makers, (e.g., Managers, Directors, VP and C-level+)
    • Ability to organize, develop and implement a strategic plan with vertical focus and identification and prioritization of target accounts
    • Organized and process-oriented in approach and prioritization of targets & tasks – able to manage concurrent activities across the sales cycle and multiple opportunities
    • Negotiating & Closing Skills – ability to consistently close deals through effective negotiations and deal management
    • Strong relationship management skills
    • A high degree of integrity and professionalism
    • Strong communication (verbal and written) skills
    • Strong Presentation Skills to small and large audiences, including C level audiences

    Salary Range: $50,000- $55,000. The base salary range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the national salary range for this position. Actual salaries may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Care.com’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses and short- and long-term incentives.
