Klaviyo operates a real-time data analytics platform coded primarily in Python that is built for massive scale and hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS). Data Scientists come to Klaviyo with experience in a variety of statistical methods and from a number of disciplines.
The Experiments Platform team helps Klaviyo’s users design and run experiments and optimizations of engagement with their audience. We are a full stack engineering team, and we take rigor in our statistical methods and model explainability seriously. We provide the platform, guidance, analysis, and insights to extract every bit of potential learning from experiments. Our work is very collaborative within the wider engineering organization since our platform is built on top of many other core technologies at Klaviyo.
As a Full Stack Data Scientist on the Experiments Platform Team, you can expect to be deeply involved in the technical discussions on how we build actionable experimentation features that enable users to learn about their audience. Full stack data scientists learn the software engineering skills they need to productionalize the data science features they help the team develop. For this role, prior software experience is not required, but a strong interest in learning it is a must. You will work alongside software engineers, product managers and designers to deliver an intuitive and robust experimentation suite for Klaivyo's users. You'll have ownership of projects that contribute to the team's mission, goals, and roadmap while collaborating alongside technical product owners and product managers. Your tech stack will include Python, Scipy, Ax (BoTorch, GPyTorch), CausalML, AWS, Ray, and Spark.
This role is based in Boston, MA and requires a weekly hybrid in-office component.
