Vice President, Go-To-Market Strategy & Operations

As the VP of GTM Strategy & Ops, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company's growth and success by leading and optimizing our Go-to-Market (GTM) strategy and operations. Reporting directly to the Senior Vice President (SVP) of GTM Strategy & Operations, you will collaborate closely with sales, marketing, product, finance, and customer success teams to ensure alignment and efficiency across the day-to-day operations of GTM. This strategic role will focus on coordinating all day to day revenue-driven activities to support the acceleration towards our financial goals while improving overall operational efficiency. Your responsibilities will encompass fiscal planning, team leadership, and analytics to drive sustainable revenue growth. The successful candidate will quickly grasp the growth levers for Sales, Partner, and Customer Success, collaborating closely with other GTM Strategy & Operations functions to optimize these areas.

    How you’ll make an impact:

    • Oversee Klaviyo’s Sales, Partner, Customer success, and Revenue strategy & operations functions including planning, forecasting, territory management, and performance analytics, providing actionable insights and recommendations for continuous improvement
    • Develop short-term and long-term operational strategies in partnership with senior team members; lead the design, development, and execution of these strategies to achieve measurable outcomes in a timely, cost-effective manner
    • Continuously assess and optimize revenue streams through upselling, cross-selling, and customer retention strategies
    • Serve as the main operational liaison across the GTM leadership team, aiding in the execution and measurement of weekly, monthly, and quarterly targets for Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, and Partners
    • Foster collaboration between GTM, finance, BI, and other relevant departments to ensure alignment with overall business objectives
    • Establish and maintain a consistent operational cadence around forecasting and reporting, in collaboration with Finance and other departments
    • Build and lead a high-performing operations and strategy team responsible for optimizing processes, driving revenue growth, and enhancing customer satisfaction

    What you’ve done:

    • 12+ years of experience in sales operations, customer success operations, revenue operations, or a related function, with a proven track record of using analytical skills to drive strategy preferably in a high growth company
    • At least 8+ years of people management experience with proven track record of building and leading high-performing teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
    • Established ability to create a productive environment that promotes initiative, innovation, continuous learning, and development of key leaders for future advancement
    • Demonstrated leadership skills including broad knowledge of management practices and good business analysis/project management skills
    • Demonstrated ability to grasp a large, complex, global business at a base level and use this understanding to set overall strategy and drive business process improvement
    • Strong business planning skills to complete strategic projects with implications for business areas with rapidly evolving business processes. Must possess a balanced perspective on strategic and tactical issues
    • Strategic thinking mixed with a strong bias to action - we want someone who has experience rolling up their sleeves and getting into the details while also charting a clear course to success
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills with a range of audiences including clients, front-line managers, and C-level leaders across the organization; demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate insights into actionable strategies; ultimately, we would be relying on your ability to architect the way we watch our business and have experience and comfortability being in the weeds with data
    • Proficient in data analytics tools, CRM systems, automation tools, and business intelligence platforms
    • Located in San Francisco Bay Area, Denver, or Boston
