As the Recruiting Lead, you will drive our talent acquisition efforts by directly managing high-priority searches and shaping the recruitment strategy for our team as it grows. You’ll be a key contributor to our recruiting efforts and a leader responsible for building and running an efficient, scalable hiring process. This role is ideal for a dynamic recruiter who enjoys both doing and leading, with a strong focus on aligning our hiring practices with Mudflap’s growth goals.
This position requires working onsite at our Palo Alto, CA headquarters twice weekly, on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and when critical needs occur.
Expectations (In this role, you will):

Directly Manage Key Hires: Take ownership of the recruiting process for critical roles, focusing on high-impact positions that support our growth

Lead and Develop a Growing Team: Provide mentorship, guidance, and support to additional recruiters as they join, fostering a collaborative and high-performance recruiting environment

Collaborate with Leadership: Partner with executives and hiring managers to align recruiting efforts with business priorities, ensuring we’re well-prepared for future staffing needs

Champion Employer Branding and the Employee Value Proposition: Work to position our company as an employer of choice by showcasing our unique culture and values. Partner with marketing and other stakeholders to craft and promote messaging that conveys our employee value proposition, leveraging social media, careers pages, and candidate communications to attract and engage top talent

Leverage Data for Continuous Improvement: Track recruitment metrics and analyze data to identify areas for improvement, sharing insights with the team and leadership to optimize processes

Enhance and Automate Existing Hiring Processes: Build on established recruiting workflows by introducing optimizations and automation where appropriate, ensuring an efficient and consistent experience for candidates and hiring managers
Experience (What we look for):

Proven Recruiting Expertise: Extensive experience in managing senior and specialized hiring, ideally including Director-level or higher roles, with expertise in recruiting for both technical roles (e.g., engineering, product) and non-technical roles.

Leadership and Mentorship Skills: Ability to lead by example, guiding and supporting a team while staying actively involved in recruiting efforts.

Process-Oriented and Strategic Mindset: Skilled at creating efficient, scalable recruiting processes that adapt to changing needs.

The salary range for this role is $133,000 - $181,000. This information reflects a base salary range for this position based on current market data, which may be subject to change as new market data becomes available. The candidate's skills, experience, and other relevant factors will determine the exact compensation. This position may also be eligible for additional incentives such as equity awards or short-term incentives. Our benefits include medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k) with company match, WFH stipend, and PTO.
