The British Museum is seeking a Membership Services Assistant to deliver excellent customer care to Members and provide administrative support for the successful day-to-day running of the Membership Office.
In this diverse role, you will accurately process all membership related administration, handle all general queries and ensure that databases are maintained to the highest standards. The post-holder will support with the organisation of Member events and assist in the Members’ Room, where necessary.
The successful candidate will possess significant direct customer service experience and will be educated to GCSE level, or equivalent. You will have previous knowledge of CRM databases and be a capable user of Microsoft packages.
We are interested in hearing from candidates with proven organisational and communication skills, who are confident in dealing with a variety of individuals in person and over the telephone. Excellent attention to detail is essential as you will seek to evaluate and improve repetitive tasks and procedures. The ability to work out of normal office hours is essential.
