JOB DESCRIPTION

We’re looking for an ambitious SEO Specialist to maximize the growth of inbound organic traffic to our website CompareHero.my. Based in our Kuala Lumpur office, you'll be joining a dynamic team with bold goals and lean experiment-driven marketing processes. Full support from our regional growth experts will also help you to continuously learn and evolve in this ever-changing digital landscape.

As our SEO Specialist, you will:

-Review and analyze our website for areas that can be improved and optimized, including metadata sculpting, site speed optimization, information architecture

-Identify relevant keywords (in English and Malay) to drive the most valuable traffic

-Monitor, track and report SEO performance and metrics, using web analytics tools

-Research online behaviors and trends of the target audience

-Perform data analysis and present strategic SEO recommendations

-Develop and deploy effective link-building efforts

-Work with content team to drive SEO in content creation and content programming

-Work with marketing team to implement effective SEM/PPC campaigns

-Support the development team to ensure SEO practices are properly implemented on website architecture and newly developed code

-Keeping updated with industry trends and applies these trends in informing the team’s strategies

-Build growth from direct response opportunities such as CRO as well as experiment with new channels where you see potential

-Play a leading role in CompareHero.my’s growth!

To join our team, you should have:

-Working knowledge and a proven, successful history of delivering rank and traffic improvements through the application of SEO techniques

-Knowledge in the use of major SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, semrush, Moz, Majestic, Keyword Planner, and others

-A genuine interest and passion for research and analysis, and must demonstrate strategic, quantitative, analytical, and reporting skills

-A solid grasp of how blogging, press releases, social media, and related strategies go hand-in-hand with SEO

-Strong organizational, time management, with the ability to identify and resolve problems
