    Salary: £11.26 per hour
    Contract: Fixed Term: until 28 February 2019 (Casual - mainly at weekends)
    The British Museum is recruiting for Family Learning Facilitators to support our families and young audiences with holiday and weekend activities, using a range of Samsung technology in our award winning Samsung Digital Discovery Centre (SDDC).

    In this role, you will facilitate a variety of digital activities and provide advice and support for family visitors to help them make the most of their visit. This is a key role for representing the Museum in which you will also implement the museum’s health and safety requirements and fire regulations, as necessary.

    The successful candidate will have significant experience of working family-centred public events, preferably within a museum or gallery. Educated to GCSE level, or equivalent, you will have practical competence in the use of digital equipment and will be able to handle basic technical problem-solving.

    We are looking for an outgoing and approachable individual, who can communicate effectively with a variety of audiences and ages with patience and enthusiasm. You will be proactive and will seek solutions to problems as they arise. Additional language skills would be advantageous.
