Description

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Build, enhance and deploy secure, testable, efficient functions for speed and performance optimization
• Design and improve service APIs and sockets to streamline messaging experience between clients & freelancers
• Evolve our architecture to support partnerships with third party technological solutions, e.g. Telcos
• Work closely with front-end developers, project managers and designers to deliver a broad range of new features of the product
• Plan and develop business ideas & innovations into functional applications to analyze and solve problems
• Maintain code bases and follow automation best practices
• Adhere to agile principles when developing and collaborating with the product team
• Continuously investigate, evaluate and implement latest technologies to enhance development efficiency

 

REQUIREMENTS

• Show strong interest in programming
• Good team player, self-motivated, good communication skills
• Proficient in at least 1 of the following programming languages: PHP, JavaScript, SQL
• Proficient in at least 1 of the following frameworks / libraries: jQuery, backbone.js
• Solid understanding of object-oriented & MVC design patterns
• Proficient in version control system (e.g. git)
• Proficient in the following frameworks / libraries will be an advantage but not a must: underscore.js, new features of ES6, Laravel, React Native
• More than 2 years of web development experience will be an advantage
• Knowledge & practice in modern software engineering development process like agile or scrum is an advantage.

 

COMPENSATION

Junior Programmer (0-2 years of experience): 
HKD ($) 16K - 22K / month + Share Option

Senior Programmer (> 2 years of experience): 
HKD ($) 22K - 30K per month + Share Option
