GAMICO is a platform where gamers can earn a living by playing video games. From casual mobile games to online multiplayer battle arenas. Gamers will be able to play, compete, and turn their passion for gaming into a paying career.

We are currently looking for an Esports Director to act as a bridge between Gamico and the esports industry; to help grow our company's network through business development and to assist in shaping our product's design.

An ideal candidate would be an individual who is well connected in the esports industry and/or an individual who is an experienced esports player who isn't shy about talking to large brands, leagues, and publishers.

Responsibilities:

• Gather insights from the esports industry to help shape our product design decisions
• Work with the product team (product manager, designers, and developers) to influence the design
• Manage our community of esports players and users
• Onboard new strategic partners for Gamico in the esports and gaming industry
• Manage our current esports partners and coordinate with them
• Actively pursue new contacts within esports to grow our network and presence
• Potentially provide a physical presence at esports events and visitations with partners

Requirements:

• Fluency in English is required
• Exceptional written and spoken communication skills
• Existing connections in the esports industry is a large plus
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Experience working in startups is a bonus
• Being an experienced competitive gamer is highly preferred
