We’re looking for a Goods Not For Resale (GNFR) Analyst to help us manage our vendor accounts and ensure that they perform in-line with B&Q’s overall business plan.

We need someone with experience of SAP, particularly system implementation and upgrade knowledge. As a large business, B&Q manage a lot of vendor accounts, so we’ll need you to have the experience and knowledge of working in a high volume transaction environment to help us keep all our accounts in great shape. Your experience at analysing data will help you to manage our vendor accounts and keep us up-to-date with any changes, but also suggest to us how we can improve things.

You’ll be working with the GNFR team to ensure that the accounts meet our SAP readiness requirements. Minimising old transactions, managing debt and debit balances, Goods Received Not Invoiced and Credit Balances you’ll help us to use the data from the accounts to understand route cause analysis and help B&Q make any necessary changes. Managing project logs and updating their progress with issues and actions, a key part of your role will be to attend SAP project related meetings to ensure that the GNFR team’s needs are being met and problems being addressed.

A proactive, flexible approach will help you to really stand out in this fast-paced role. With a lot of detail to deal with, we need you to be able to clearly see the bigger picture of our vendor accounts which will help you to report and analyse data within Excel. You’ll work across a number of departments internally, and with our external GNFR vendors, so excellent communication skills are a must for this role as this will enable you to consult and collaborate where necessary across the business.
