The Opportunity
The Monash Sustainability Institute has an exciting opportunity for two Interdisciplinary Research Coordinators. The successful candidates will act effectively as a bridge to sustainable development research capabilities across Monash and as brokers for new interdisciplinary projects.

The successful candidates will and work closely with the Director to identify opportunities to develop and make visible interdisciplinary thematics aligned to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals.

To be successful you will have a postgraduate qualification or progress towards a postgraduate qualification in either a Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) or Humanities and Social Sciences (HASS) discipline; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.

If you possess an exceptional ability to build, manage and maintain successful working relationships with a broad range individuals including academics, senior government and industry stakeholders as well as other key external stakeholders, you are encouraged to apply.

You will also have excellent organisational and project management skills and a proven ability to work with new concepts in a complex environment.
