Job description & requirements
Reporting to the Regional Head of Social paid marketing, this role is an important pillar of Lazada performance marketing’s creative & ad content strategy. Working alongside performance marketers who focus on budget & bid optimization of sophisticated structure of Facebook & Google campaigns, this role will help to fulfill the big picture by ensuring every step from viewing the ad to landing on the app are beautifully designed while being highly relevant to every individual user. Main KPIs include but not limited to CTR, CTI & relevance score. The scope can be broken down into major components as below:
Creative and messaging strategy:
- Managing & improving all qualitative aspects of Lazada performance display ads on Facebook & Google: ad content / creative / messaging / landing page on app.
- Managing & refreshing the Display channel creative library. Building best practices for every single creative element
- Coordinating with internal/external graphic design teams for creative production. Ensure lead time & quality of deliverables.
- Monitoring & auditing local performance marketing teams’ creative strategies and implementations
- Monitoring competitor’s creative practice & ensuring Lazada stay ahead
- Working closely with Branding team to have the latest consumer insights and to ensure ads following branding guidelines while remain relevant & refreshing to the audience
Innovation & Growth:
- Bringing the display channels to its full potential by testing the latest products and features Facebook/Google is releasing
- Always challenging the status quo and suggesting ideas for A/B & multivariate testing & new product features related to ad content / creatives etc.
Project management:
- Leading multiple projects and developing roadmaps to support the intensive growth of marketing channels within Lazada
- Working with various stakeholders from campaign teams, category/commercial teams, CRM, and other business units on cross-departmental projects
Training & coaching:
- Coordinating, guiding & training local counterparts in launching & managing local initiatives & campaigns

Mindset & knowledge:
- Highly self-motivated and proactive, can-do attitude, and strong business acumen for the Internet and its possibilities
- Have a good understanding of social media marketing, mobile app marketing landscape & online shoppers journey
- Have a passion for good design, and an eye to distinguish a good ad content/creative vs a bad one, and always think from a user perspective to challenge the status quo
Skills & experience:
- Minimum 5 years of work experience in digital marketing & user experience positions. Ecommerce experience is a plus
- Experience using Facebook Business Manager & other Ad optimization platform is advantage
- Highly comfortable with numbers & excellent analytical skills
- Advanced command of Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
