Senior Database Engineer - Gogoro ｜Meet.jobs

Responsibilities

1. Lead the effort on database performance and optimization. 
2. Implement and release database changes according to agreed schedule. 
3. Experience in database management 
4. Experience with system and database monitoring, including network connection, system status, sql execution plan. 
5. Experience with utilizing tools, scripts to solve routine tasks. 
6. Experience with database system planning, design, build, restore, upgrade backup management is a plus. 

Qualifications

1. Must have 3+ years of experience in relational database design, development, and implementation in a commercial enterprise setting
2. B.S. in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering or equivalent work experience
3. Must demonstrate a clear understanding of the logical and physical database design (for both transactional and data warehouse) and data normalization concepts
4. Must have extensive hands-on experience with MS SQL Server, MySQL, or Postgre. 
5. NoSQL experience is a big plus

1. Excellent, proven troubleshooting and problem resolution skills
2. Must have a team-based attitude and be skilled at building constructive and effective relationships
3. Strong technical documentation skills
