Job description

Your responsibility
• Development and maintenance of our Linux software to control our real-time networks for video, audio and communications.
• Independent design, design, implementation and testing of software components with C ++ under Linux.
• Assume responsibility for areas of system software architecture.
• Member of a Scrum Team.
• Participate in design and code reviews, both formal and agile (e.g., pair programming).

Your profile
• Completion of a university or technical college in a technical discipline, preferably in software engineering and / or electronics.
• Professional experience in Linux software development, preferably in the event industry or broadcast environment.
• Very good C ++ and Linux knowledge as well as experience in object-oriented software design, experience with Linux kernel development is a plus.
• Practical experience with methods of agile software development.
• Very good knowledge of standard internet protocols.
• Pro-active team player with independent working method.
• Communication skills and interdisciplinary thinking, especially when working with other divisions.
• Fluent English spoken and written.

We offer a salary depending upon your qualification and experience, that is significantly higher than the collective agreement for this position.
