As a Sr. Data Analyst, you will serve as an analytics expert by analyzing data in order to make better business decisions, enabling Trend Micro to provide security services that fit for our business partners and customers.

You will be responsible for translating data into meaningful interpretations and recommendations, and develop reports and presentations for cross-functional stakeholders, including Sales, Marketing and Engineering.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

 

- Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports .

- Identify, analyze, and interpret patterns, or relationship in complex data sets .

- Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain data integrity.

- Develop and implement data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and data quality.

- Work closely with management to prioritize business and information needs that lead to actionable insights.

 

 

 

Qualification/Requirement

 

Essentials:

- BS in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics or Computer Science.

- 3+ years of proven experience as a data analyst or relevant positions.

- 2+ years of practical experience with relational database or NoSQL database. ie. MySQL, MongoDB.

- Advanced experience in Machine learning.

- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

- Advanced written, oral and presentations skills in both English and Chinese.

 

Preference:

- MS or above in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics or Computer Science.

- Strong Experience on IT industry.

- Strong Experience on data mining.

- Advanced experience of R language or Python  is a plus.
