Role
● You are the custodian of CoolBitX’s cloud environment. You love to design, build and maintain a stable, secure and scalable cloud environment that makes it possible for the team to deliver high quality digital products.
● Your expertise in continuous delivery will help us automate our testing and deployment pipelines to deliver faster solutions.
● Your ability to monitor and assess the performance of applications in the cloud environment will ensure our solutions are available anytime and anywhere.
● You will maintain the integrity of data and protect against unauthorized access.

Requirements
● Have solid experience in GCP. AWS is a plus.
● You have an understanding of modern DevOps/SRE concepts, including automation, configuration management, immutability, observability and site reliability.
● You have experience working independently with high-level direction to build and maintain complex Linux cloud environments, like Ubuntu, or CentOS, to support modern web technologies: LAMP/LNMP (Linux, Apache/Nginx, MariaDB/MySQL, PHP/Python), MEAN (MongoDB, Express.js, Angular.js, Node.js).
● You have fluency in scripting languages like JavaScript, Node.js, Bash, Linux shell script, Python, PHP, Ruby... etc. for defining infrastructure as code.
● You have experience in build tools like Git, Ansible, Chef, Puppet etc. for continuous integration (CI).
● You have hands-on experience in continuous deployment (CD), for CI/CD pipelines.
● You are familiar with container-based virtualization technology like Docker, Docker Compose.
● You have integration experience in building and using APIs.
● You have experience applying industry web, architectural and security standards and best practices to your work that can be adopted by others.
● You have worked with relational and non-relational databases, like PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, AWS DocumentDB, AWS DynamoDB, AWS ElastiCache etc.
● You have experience in logs monitoring tools, like AWS CloudWatch, Kinesis and Splunk, pushing warnings to IM, ex. Slack.
● You have experience in securing environments using offensive and defensive approaches.
● You have experience providing production support for multiple cloud environments.
● You are comfortable leading discussions and selling your ideas to technical and non-technical colleagues, as well as senior management.
● You are a strong communicator who collaborates on your work within a multidisciplinary team.
● You have strong leadership skills to support and guide team members.
