Job scope

Build high quality, globally available, fault tolerant systems and products

Solving tough problems with scalable high performance code

Requirements

Understand OOP

Experience with building backend web services using several languages and frameworks (some tools we use include Ruby, UNIX commands, PHP...)

Experience with relational databases and SQL (we're mostly on MySQL with some Postgres)

Experience with Rails or the desire to learn it quickly

Strong knowledge with Git version control system

Plus

Building innovative products and features integrated with existing systems

Experience with development on a leading cloud provider (GCE, AWS, Azure...)

A passion for helping growing development teams and making others better
