    Job description
    As an University Lecturer in European Economic Law, you will be responsible for teaching in the Law School’s Department of International and European Law. The emphasis will be on European law courses with a focus on European competition, regulatory and economic law. You will supervise bachelor and master theses, and may be assigned further coordination and tutoring tasks. Though the emphasis will be on teaching, research is possible (preferably within the Department’s research programs).

    Qualifications
    We are looking for a lawyer with sound knowledge of European law and European economic law in particular who meets the following requirements:

    • You have experience in academic teaching and are able to teach a wide array of courses in European law and European economic law;
    • You are highly organized with strong demonstrated teaching skills;
    • You have a PhD in law, or will very soon obtain one;
    • You possess strong interpersonal skills;
    • You have an excellent command of written and spoken English;
    • You are proficient in Dutch, or willing to learn Dutch as a professional working language.

    Offer
    We can offer a temporary position for a duration of two years. The salary is min. € 3.324 and max. € 5,171 gross per month for a full-time position (scale 11-12 in accordance with cao NU). The university offers attractive employment conditions, including a 8 pct. holiday allowance and a 8.3 pct. end of year allowance. Furthermore, we offer good pension conditions and flexible employment conditions.
